While practing for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, Jewel sustained and injury.  Today, she stated that she will not be able to move on to do the show this seasson due to the nature of the injury.

Producer of Dancing with the Stars stated earlier, “Though we share in their disappointment that they can no longer continue, their physical well-being takes precedent above all else. We thank them both for giving it their all and wish them a quick and full recovery,”
