In 2001, a Chinese kid by the name of Jin was crowned Freestyle Friday Champion on BET’s 106&Park by winning seven back-to-back freestyle battles.  During week seven, Jin announced his signing to the Ruff Ryders.  After a brief stint with the DMX-pack and singles such as ‘Learn Chinese’ and ‘Senorita,’ we really never heard from Jin again.  Except, for a few Jin fanatics that followed his career on the indie circuit, would know that he recently released a new mixtape in Cantonese.  Check out a track from his new mixtape below!
