they were being Competitive or whatever, there was some true fgeniles in those records .Nas never saw Jay_Z as a threat until he started getting big, and Jay_Z didn’t like Nas because he stood in his way from being King of NY, granted he looked up to him even the great 2pac knew Nas was not to be messed with back in the early, mid 90s, shit Biggie was like lil homey is a threat..lol..Nas was and still is a problem.Drake and J.Cole are friends so I don’t see any type of disses being thrown any time soon, Drake is too busy running away from R&B singers (c. brown) Rap is not what it used to be, not complaining..is still dope, but back in the day people were closes to them streets than now Now you have 1 album out, and you’re a millionaire (see J.Cole, Wale etc).. these dudes were grossing 5 million lol 1 album.. well Wale 2, but you get my point it took Puff, Jay-Z and even Nas who knows how many album to gross that amount of money lol
